The best schnitzel ever. Also to take away and unfortunately only until the end of the year. The landlord is retiring and unfortunately there is probably no successor.

The best schnitzel in the southern Hanover area. After Andy's saloon closed its doors in Barnten, we found this restaurant by chance. The schnitzel that is available here is second to none. They are tender as butter and take up almost the entire plate. Add delicious French fries or fried potatoes and the day is saved. Price / performance is great, nowhere else you can get more at a fair price. Go to this restaurant a few times a year to enjoy the exquisite Jägerschnitzel. The sauce is also a dream. Keep up the good work and don't let Covid get you down, we'll be happy to come back to you as soon as possible. =)

For the first time I am disappointed ...... The schnitzel only tasted like fried breading. No trace of the meat ????? It's a shame, was always very enthusiastic.

Food very tasty, service very friendly. Unfortunately, what didn't work was 1.5 hours waiting for the food. Especially since the guests at the neighboring tables came and went when we didn't even have our food. Hence, unfortunately, point deduction.

I've known this restaurant for at least 10 years, the schnitzel is tasty for the Hamelin area! Compared to other restaurants outside of Hameln, unfortunately only average. The size of the dishes is sufficient and filling even for hungry people. However, especially in the last 3 years, the standard of customer friendliness has decreased a lot. Whether on the weekend or during the week, when the restaurant opens, you are put off that there are no mushrooms or that the mixed salad is not in stock. From a subjective point of view, I can only explain that to myself that the operator unfortunately sees no reason to change anything due to NO competition in the area. Short waiting times are also offered, which, however, often cannot be met as the person collecting the goods. 20 minutes longer than specified is sometimes not uncommon. What you would have liked to have known beforehand and accepted. All in all, you won't be able to avoid stopping by for a couple of beers and schnitzel. It's just a shame that little things like the planning of supplies and incorrect information for collectors reduce the overall impression.

Very delicious huge schnitzel portions, with a side dish of your choice, fries, croquettes, fried potatoes ... had half a hunter and gypsy sauce, was a huge portion and very tasty! Rustic ambience, super nice service at really great prices! Weekend reserved!

We are there every few months, and the taste has been the same for decades. Just the right portions for the somewhat bigger hunger. There is no competition anywhere in the area

If you are hungry and like XL Schnitzel, you should go to old potions. Here his hunger is satisfied. The XL Schnitzel is available in different variants: Hunter, Gypsy and Nature Schnitzel. My favorite is the hunter's schnitzel, it is very juicy and delicious. The service is very nice, the only minus point is the waiting time, you have to wait a long time for the food, but it's worth it. The prices are ok too. Can only recommend 😋👍
